The FA know the score!23 January 2002Wolves have been charged with misconduct by the Football Association after an incident in their clash with West Brom in December. Several players had to be separated after Albion midfielder Jordao clashed with Wolves' Alex Rae. After studying video evidence the FA have charged Dave Jones' side while the Baggies, who won the game 1-0, have escaped any punishment. The FA said "Wolves have been charged under FA rule 21 (a) and (e) regarding a breach of conduct by Wolves players. They have 14 days to appeal and answer a personal hearing." Wolves are feeling rather hard done by, saying that it was Jordao's original tackle that sparked things off, and have requested the personal hearing to plead their case. If they fail, a hefty fine could be imposed.
