Albion in hotel trashing scandal

18 February 2006

According to a report in today's Sun, Albion "millionaires" set off a fire extinguisher and ruined the walls and carpets of a hotel corridor during last weeks stay in Dubai. "These pampered prima donnas performed like spoilt children" said one guest who, like many others, was woken up at 1:30 in the morning, "They are just a bunch of moronic yobs who make you ashamed to be British. I have no doubt some of the players had been drinking".

The report goes on to quote Bryan Robson admitting "A fire extinguisher was set off. It was a silly prank. They apologised and paid for any damage. The hotel accepted this and do not have a problem".
