Wallwork for Albion?

16 December 2001

If the News of the World is to be believed, Manchester United midfielder Ronnie Wallwork is set to join Albion for a fee of £3.2 million; personal terms have apparently been agreed already following two meetings between the player and the Club. The move comes after the price for Jason Koumas was reported to be set at £2 million up front with an additional million payable when Albion achieve promotion, causing the bid to finally be abandoned.

And let's face it - if Beckham can't get a place in their starting lineup, what chance has Wallwork got...?
