Santos: Il pense

01 June 2000

Midfielder Georges Santos is currently considering an offer of a contract from Albion, but seems to be in no hurry to sign up; however, both he and manager Gary Megson seem fairly confident of the offer being accepted and the Frenchman becoming a permanent member of the squad. With fellow midfielder Sean Flynn having been released at the end of the season, the failure to sign Santos would certainly leave us with a serious hole in the centre of the park with only Sneekes and Oliver really being able to fill it.
