It's amazing what a few, some would say obvious, changes can make to a team. Such as, putting players in their most effective roles, adding some fresh legs (having the courage to replace Krychowiak with Field), getting midfield support closer to Rondon (well in the first half anyway),reverting to a back four. The spirit shown by the players tells us they are happy with the changes. I wonder how much of a distraction to the players Krychowiak has been with his monster salary and his less than stellar effort on the pitch. Another 'Billy big knob'?

We could so easily have taken all three points with first HRK and then Rondon going close at the death. Some will criticize Rondon for a glaring miss after a superb run and cross from Phillips, but by then Rondon (our MOTM in my opinion) had run himself into the ground and did well to get on the end of it.

But a point from this game, and way we battled throughout, was brilliant. Unless we get some wacko in who blows up the whole thing, it looks like we have the squad to stay up. Can we change our style and be more adventurous against weaker teams or is caution now part of our DNA?
