30 September 2007

Thursday October 4th:

THE NEXT MAIN BRANCH meeting will be held in the East Stand when the gentlemen of the press will be our guests, namely Martin Swain, Steve Marshall (from the Express and Star) and Chris Lepkowski from the Evening Mail. Andy Toft from the Express and Star will be there too to film interviews for the Star website. So if you wish to place your "views" on record then pop along.

7.30 for 8.pm. Members only but new members can join on the night.

Thursday October 25th:

THE MAIN BRANCH will be holding a ?PLAYERS MEETING? in the East Stand at The Hawthorns. Please note that the meeting will start at 7.00pm. Doors will open at 6.30pm. Guest Players will be: ROBERT KOREN, CRAIG BEATTIE & BOSTJAN CESAR.

Thursday November 15th:

KIDDERMINSTER BRANCH will be holding the Stephen Hayden Memorial Dinner (proceeds to Cure Leukaemia at the Hawthorns in the Richardson suite. There will be a dinner, celebrities, former players and an auction of memorabilia. Tickets will be ?40 or ?400 for a table of ten. The main branch will support this venture, please do so too. Thursday November 22nd:

BRAIN OF ALBION QUIZ

The "official" Brain of Albion quiz, a team and an individual event, will be held at Brandhall Branch, Brandhall Labour Club, Tame Road Oldbury. There will be cash prizes and trophies for the winners as well as the supreme accolade of "Brain of Albion". All questions will be based on the history of Albion and I promise you (as Dave Holloway and John Homer will be setting them) they will not be easy.

There will be an entrance fee for teams and individuals. As this is a Supporters Club venture, it will be members only but non members can join the Main Branch or the Brandhall Branch on the night.
